This was only discovered by chance on one of our drives through Lekki and I mentioned I had seen an ice-cream store along the way and we should try it. Call it faith but this is where Joba would swear is the best ice-cream he's ever tasted has been.
"I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream"
The very first time we went we ordered the Brownie Delight for the two of us to share, needless to say now when we visit we don't share anymore! This has been the only place we go for ice cream since Joba swears the Madagascan Vanilla is the best ice cream in the whole world! I'll be honest and say I'm not the hugest ice-cream fan though I do love my classical all time flavours of chocolate chip mint and tiger, which yes I know is gross to almost everyone. For me the ice cream is good and is a lot more creamier and soft then home though I prefer my ice cream more on the firm on the firm side.
They do offer more then just ice cream with a large menu to order sundaes, drinks, shakes, cakes and even sandwiches. We've a little bit of everything by now after all our visits. The panini and fries we got was good enough for the both of us to snack on. I've gotten a few different sundaes which were tasty as well. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the red velvet cake I ordered. I had found the cake to be very dry and the icing was way too little for my liking and not a lot of flavour.
They've opened up more then a handful of locations now and the prices are reasonable and the quality is always the same. Its a great place to come when you've got a sweet tooth craving.
The first photo here does show the Brownie Delight and my frozen yogurt I had gotten from a place called "Sweet Kiwi" which is also in Lekki. Tasty yet very expensive.
*Update*
The menu has now changed at The Ice Cream Factory and the prices has increased. They no longer have options for Sundaes and now you can build your own ice cream desserts. They still offer the Brownie Delight though the price has gone up and it no longer offers the same ingredients. I'm not happy with the changes and there's not much I would personality order now. I did order a caramel shake but I found it very small for the price. Though we will kept coming back since Joba loves his vanilla ice cream here though we did find another ice-cream now I would prefer to go to for myself.
